Jamela Villanueva broke her silence and exposed the alleged intimate conversations Anthony Jennings had with Maris Racal, before their breakup.
Villanueva made the revelation through a series of Instagram Stories last Dec. 3, alongside photos of Jennings and Racal’s exchange which she obtained from the actor’s phone. In one of her posts, she stressed that she’s sharing her “truth” for her peace and to protect her family and herself from being “attacked by others.”
Article continues after this advertisement“When Maris came into the picture, I was genuinely happy for you both, I even chose to be supportive, despite the red flags I couldn’t ignore,” she added. “I respected your craft. I believed in you both. But betrayal like this cuts deep.”
Article continues after this advertisementVillanueva then shared Jennings and Racal’s exchange back in June where the pair agreed to delete their messages on each other’s phones, hoping they would no longer need to do so “someday.”
Article continues after this advertisementShe noted that Jennings allegedly informed her of this, explaining that “he had to do it for work.” The actor further said that “he need[s] to make [Racal] feel loved and appreciated because she was going through something as well.”
In the latter part of her post, Villanueva dedicated an open letter to Jennings, thanking him for their almost seven-year relationship. “I allowed this to happen because I thought it was the best way to support them both. Most importantly, I trusted my partner and her — as a woman,” she said.

She also shared that she reached out to his ex-girlfriend but has yet to receive a response.
Jennings, on the other hand, apologized to Racal and Villanueva in a 22-second video.

Rico Blanco remained mum on the alleged intimate conversations between his ex-girlfriend Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings as bared by Jamela Villanueva.
Amid the controversy, Blanco maintained his silence on the expose and simply shared his unforgettable memories from his recent gigs in Alaminos, Cainta, Bulacan, and Manila.
“Some snaps from the last 10 days. Thank you Alaminos, Cainta, Bulacan, Manila. Up next @howlersmanila. See you on Saturday,” he wrote on Instagram. The singer-songwriter also reshared a clip from a fan on his Instagram Story while thanking her for the support.
Blanco’s post was filled with supportive messages from netizens, with some noting that he was “saved from the wrong person,” apparently alluding to Racal. He, however, had limited access to his comments section.
Racal confirmed her split with Blanco in a Star Magic press conference in July 2024, reiterating that there was no “third party” involved in their breakup. She also pointed out that Jennings is “out of the picture” and it’s a matter between the both of them.
The Rivermaya frontman and Racal were together for five years but made their relationship public in June 2021.

The shocking cheating allegations against Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings have sparked a wave of reactions from fellow celebrities including Lovely Abella, Anthony Taberna, and Mark Escueta, who have taken to social media to give their two cents on the issue.
Abella, who was captured by her husband actor Benj Manalo, was seen lying on the bed and scrolling through her cellphone, looking at the intimate conversations between Racal and Jennings that were released by Jamela Villanueva.
In her caption, Abella clarified that she’s not good at remembering names, saying, “Sorry na po mahina ako sa name kung di ko nakikita ang picture.”
On the other hand, broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna took to social media to clarify that it was not him and fellow broadcaster Mariz Umali who were involved in the viral cheating rumors.
Meanwhile, Escueta expressed his support for Blanco, who is his bandmate in Rivermaya, amid the cheating rumors involving the latter’s ex-girlfriend.
“Team Rico (heart sign emoji),” he simply wrote on Facebook.
After Neri Naig, Rufa Mae Quinto also faces arrest

Aside from Neri Naig, fellow actress Rufa Mae Quinto is also facing a standing warrant of arrest for similar charges of violation of a provision of the Securities Regulation Code in connection with a skincare company flagged by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Quinto’s lawyer Atty Mary Louise Reyes confirmed the issuance of a court warrant on the December 2 broadcast of 24 Oras, days after complainants’ lawyer Roberto Labe disclosed in a TV interview that there was another actress who they did not name, but have charged for violation of Section 8 (unlawful sale of securities) of Republic Act 8799 (securities code).
Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code states that an individual is prohibited from engaging as a broker, salesman, or any associated person of any dealer when it comes to buying or selling securities unless it’s registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Dermacare is registered with SEC but its alleged incorporators, one of them identified as Chanda Atienza, its chief operations officer. Naig previously declared on Facebook in 2023 that she is no longer connected with the skincare brand, for which she is now incarcerated while her twin cases are being heard by two branches of the Pasay City Regional Trial Court.
The unnamed actress, along with politicians and other personalities, was then identified to be the “Booba” star by showbiz insider Ogie Diaz last Nov. 30, citing an anonymous source. Her warrant was then reported by talk show host Boy Abunda on the Dec. 2 episode of his talk show.
Despite the warrant, Quinto’s lawyer clarified that the actress is not involved in a large-scale estafa complaint, a non-bailable offense, and will face her impending charges.
Reyes also pointed out that Quinto is merely a “victim” of the matter, and is not involved in any activities related to scamming clients and the like.
Despite this, Quinto remained firm and stressed that she is a “victim” of the issue surrounding the skincare company.
Neri Naig ‘enticed investments’ into derma company — SEC

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said Neri Naig, who was arrested over charges of estafa and securities violation, supposedly “enticed investments” into the dermatological company she endorsed without having the license to do so.
“Ang nakuha naming mga impormasyon po ay siya po ay parang naghikayat ng mga investments dun sa Beyond Skin Care. Yun po yung kumpanya na iniimbestigahan po,” SEC Enforcement and Investment Protection Department Director Filbert Catalino Flores III told “Teleradyo Serbisyo” last Nov. 28.
“Sa Securities Regulation Code, ‘yung Section 28 na binanggit po, ang kailangan po kapag ang isa ay involved sa buying and selling ng securities po, investment contracts, etcetara, ‘yan po ay kailangan nakarehistro sa SEC,” he continued.
Flores underscored that the SEC requires such registration to “maintain the integrity of the investment and capital market.”
Speaking about the defense of Naig’s husband, musician Chito Miranda, that the actress was just a mere “talent” or endorser of the company, Flores explained, “Kung ang in-endorse lang naman niya, kunwari ay itong produkto na ito or sinasabi lang na ‘Magpunta kayo d’yan, maganda mag-makeup d’yan’ — ’yung mga ganon, walang problema yan.”
“Pero kapag ang sinabi, ‘Magandang investment ‘to kasi kikita kayo ng ganito, kikita kayo ng 10% or something,’ involved na kayo sa buying and selling of securities. Kailangan rehistrado na po kayo,” he stressed.
Flores then underscored that securities violation is a bailable offense and that Naig has been detained due to the syndicated estafa complaint against her.

Neri Naig was released from Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) custody last December. 4, after a Pasay court ordered her immediate release.
Naig’s release was confirmed by BJMP spokesperson Insp. Jayrex Joseph Bustinera to TV Patrol. He said they served the release papers at the hospital where the actress was taken for “medical evaluation.”
Bustinera previously noted in an interview that the order release of Naig was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 112 in Pasay City after her motion to quash was partially granted.
Naig was arrested last Nov. 23 and detained at the Pasay City Jail female dormitory for charges of estafa, which stemmed from her prior endorsement of embattled dermatological company Dermacare.
She is also accused of violating the Securities Regulation Code, with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) saying Naig supposedly “enticed investments” into the company without having the license to do so.
Naig’s arraignment for her alleged security violations was rescheduled to Jan. 9, 2025, after her camp filed a motion to quash.

Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have reportedly called it quits following allegations of infidelity on the actor’s part.
People Magazine reported, while citing a source close to the couple, that Carpenter and Keoghan have decided to take a break after one year of dating.
“They are both young and career-focused, so they’ve decided to take a break,” wrote the outlet.

The separation rumors were then fueled by cheating allegations after a blind item made the rounds online, alluding to Keoghan cheating on Carpenter with TikTok influencer Brekkie Hill.
