    Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. recently officially rebranded itself as Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines Inc. (CCEAP). According to CCEAP, the change was made to better reflect the Aboitiz Group’s strategic investment and partnership with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP).

    Aboitiz Group President and CEO Sabin Aboitiz attested that the transformation goes beyond just a name change, but rather a testament to the strength of their partnership with CCEP. “This new era is a reflection of the shared vision between Aboitiz and CCEP to bring Filipinos closer to a sustainable and prosperous future,” Aboitiz said.

    Gareth McGeown, president and CEO of CCEAP expressed excitement for this new chapter in the beloved beverage giant’s tenure in the Philippines. “Our new name signifies an exciting new phase in our journey as we reaffirm our commitment to serving our customers, supporting our people and communities, and driving long-term growth for the country,” said.

    Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines Inc. reveals its new signage in its Calamba plant to reflect the company’s new name and vision for the beloved softdrink brand.

    According to documents from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the legal aspects of the name change were handled by Atty. John Paul Nabua of the Nabua Law Office. Nabua and his firm are experienced in handling such matters for many of the country’s top companies. They were the former external legal counsel for Grab Philippines, and are currently the external counsel for other high-profile companies, including AirAsia Move Travel, On-Us Solutions (where business tycoon Manny Pangilinan has invested), and Para Xpress Technologies (partly owned by Cebuana Lhuillier).

    Along with the transformation, CCEAP is positioning itself as a leader in sustainable practices, promising to integrate innovative solutions that reduce environmental impact.

    As the year begins, Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines Inc. is ready to take on the challenges of a dynamic market with the same iconic taste Filipinos love, but now with a renewed sense of purpose.
